Plus it would be nice to have a good time with my family while I’m home for spring break :)
I just realized that my birthday is in exactly 2 weeks.
It feels so odd knowing that I’ll be 22 soon. I feel like I barely got to enjoy being 21 (not that it was even enjoyable). It’s bizarre because I’ve past so many bench mark birthdays such as turning 10, when you are finally in the double digits. Turning 13, you’re finally a teenager. Sweet 16 and learning how to drive. Turning 17 and being able to watch and buy R rated films. 18, were you can finally get your license, buy lottery tickets, buy stuff off tv, and buy cigarettes. The moment when you turn 20. And then finally you turn 21 so that you can legally buy alcohol and shit that involves alcohol. But turning 22… just makes me feel old and the only birthday of value next will be when I get a senior discount. I feel like I never really met any of those bench mark birthdays with a bang. I just hope this birthday goes well and that the rest of the year goes in my favor as well.
